The Flying Child CIC Inclusion Statement

The Flying Child CIC believes that everyone has a right to equality of opportunity, dignity, and respect. We are committed to creating and maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all who engage with our work.

We value and celebrate diversity and are proud to be an inclusive organisation. We actively welcome and support people of all genders, including trans and non-binary people, as well as people from Black, global majority and minority ethnic communities, disabled and neurodivergent people, LGBTQIA+ communities, people of all faiths and beliefs, and those with lived experience of disadvantage or marginalisation.

Discrimination, harassment, or intolerance towards any individual or group will not be tolerated within our spaces. We recognise that prejudice often arises from fear, misunderstanding, or misinformation. However, The Flying Child CIC will always prioritise the safety, dignity, and rights of marginalised people.

We reserve the right to exclude any person - regardless of their identity - if their behaviour is abusive, discriminatory, or poses a risk to the safety or wellbeing of others.

Our inclusion practice is informed by the Equalities Act 2010, our organisational values, and a commitment to continuous reflection and learning.
